In the 2011 CFC, donors pledged more money to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital than to any other group. The American Red Cross received the second highest amount. The American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House Foundation rounded out the top 5.
The Workplace Giving Alliance has gathered pledged data from local CFC administrators around the country. This is information that the government has heretofore not collected, so until now no one has actually known the charity preferences of federal donors.
