We also do not yet officially know the administrative cost for the 2017 campaign – or the amount raised through the first two fees that charities had to pay to participate in the CFC last year. Some money (about $11 million) went to the Central Campaign Administrator. Some went to the new Outreach Coordinators (about $7 million). OPM has still not told us how much was raised by fees 1 and 2 and how much by fee 3. We are likely to know soon.
So, the CFC now moves ahead to the 2018 cycle. Our hope, of course, is that the results will improve and that the government will be able to lower that third fee next winter.
