If you have not already done so, please complete our web-based registration form
You will need to provide your charity name and 5-digit CFC code, certify that you have read and agree to abide by the event terms. The event terms can be found on the local campaign website here.
Events - There are two types of events. A charity fair is a tabling event where you'll be among several charities and speak to employees individually as they come through. Employees really like these events. Tip Make sure your CFC code is on your brochure. You can use labels if they are not printed with them. Also, if you have them, bring giveaway items; pens and other promo items are very popular.
Agency Kickoffs - these are typically speaking opportunities. You'll be asked to make a brief presentation about what your organization does, Local campaign personnel will let you know if the facility has video capability. Tip: Tell stories. People like hearing real stories about how you have impacted real people. Facts and stats are good, but stories sell.
Process - All events are posted to the calendar on our website at cbacfc.org.If the event includes charities there will be a link to register. Once the event is posted an email will go out with the registration link as well. Tip: if you have more than one person who might be attending events, have them each sign up for our list.
All events are held in federal facilities. Advanced registration is required. If you are closed out, then join the wait list. Spots often open up. If you register and find you cannot attend, please remove yourself from the registration list. Only register one person per organization, per event. Duplicate registrations from the same organization will be result in all registrations from that organization being removed from the list. Security details and site contact information will be included in the event registration confirmation. Please read that carefully. If the facility requires an escort you will need to arrive at the specified time and stay until the event is concluded. If you cannot stay for the whole time, do not register.
