The Gateway Region encompasses 120 counties: all of southern Illinois, eastern Missouri inclusive of Columbia and Jefferson City, and four counties around Paducah, Kentucky. If your organization is interested in being invited to table at charity fairs and/or speak at CFC rallies, please e-mail me and tell me which of the areas below you would consider sending someone to. NO we do not know exactly when most event(s) will be scheduled in these areas, I will use your reply to invite your organization to events(s) in the region(s) you may be willing to cover when opportunities are set. We have a policy on how to make sure that a diverse range of programs will be represented at these events, based on the NTEE codes that you identified in your application. An important point for you as an org rep is that if your org is invited, we need a response or acceptance/decline within 3 business days. If a charity does not reply at all more than three times, or is a no-show to an event without at least 24 hour advance notice, they may not be invited for further events in this season.
Again, please send me e-mail with: the name of your organization, which of the following areas your organization is interested in being invited, and who should be sent the e-mailed invitations:

Please send me a reply byAugust 26 if your organization is interested in attending any events in the Gateway CFC region.
For organizations which cannot send a person to table at the Gateway CFC events: NO, you may NOT send brochures. NO, you may NOT ship us "freebie" items. We cannot handle your organization’s materials. Your representative may bring as much as you wish to the kickoff(s), charity fairs, and speaker events, etc. We recommend that you include your org’s CFC number on brochures and other handouts, in order to make the “connection” between your giveaways and potential donors.
Big Promotional Stuff: We enable "door prizes" of larger/nicer items to add some fun to charity fairs when the employees organizing the event wish to manage it. This request will be included in the specific invitation(s). We cannot accept items that are shipped to us, your representative has to bring item(s) when they attend the event(s).
Promote Your Org’s CFC #, Use CFC logo Your organization may use the official CFC Logo to promote your organization as a potential recipient of CFC designated dollars. Great places to use the logo and promote your organization as a CFC choice is in your newsletter(s) and web site, along with the 5-digit CFC designation number for your organization. You may obtain the logo and brand standards at OPM’s website at www.opm.gov/cfclogo/logo/download.aspx. You will be prompted to review and accept terms of the user agreement. You must agree to the user agreement before proceeding. Once you accept, your browser will go to the logo download web page. If you have questions about your organization’s five digit code, the national/international list is up now at www.GatewayCFC.org – click on the “search charities” button. Feel free to let me know if you have questions.
