Summary

The Washington State Combined Fund Drive, CFD, is the only authorized workplace giving campaign for state employees.  Annually the CFD raises approximately $5.7 million for nearly 1,900 eligible charities. 

Eligibility Requirements

Note: This is a summary of the eligibility requirements to enter the CFD.  Complete regulations and the application for the current year may be found on the website listed above.

To gain access to the CFD an organization must:

• Be recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization
• File Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service
• Register with the State of Washington through the Secretary of State’s office.  This application can be found here or on the CFD website.  The fee is $60.
